Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is searching for a professional and talented Compensation Analyst to assist our premier client with project. This role offers competitive pay, benefits during the contract engagement.

The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for:


  • Preparing and maintaining job descriptions for each position in the organization; Ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents

  • Interviewing and surveying employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job

  • Assessing jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range

  • Benchmarking jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position

  • Preparing and maintaining job classifications and salary scales

  • Preparing and presenting summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information

  • Gathering data from market-based compensation surveys; Uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends

  • Evaluating and implementing job analysis instruments and materials







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Strong knowledge of FSLA

  • Strong Excel knowledge (Pivots, VLOOKUP's, Formulas)

  • Strong Computer skills overall

  • Professional, yet personable demeanor

  • Experience with JDE

  • Strong communication skills, both written and orally

  • Highly organized

  • Experience with Lexus Nexus a huge plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
