Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Internal Auditor in Lansing, Michigan (MI). This is a growing company that is adding to their internal audit team.

Responsibilities include:

• Senior Internal Auditor will support the audit plan


• Execute internal control testing


• Execute operational audit programs


• Identify and evaluate control deficiencies and improvement opportunities


• As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will provide risk recommendations


• Assist with special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• CIA or CPA designation


• 4+ years of experience in public accounting or internal audit


• SOX testing experience


• Experience with US GAAP


• Advanced analytical skills


• Strong Microsoft Excel skills


• Strong communication skills


• Ability to travel up to 30% per year, both domestically and internationally

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
