The Cummings School of Architecture is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach the following courses for the Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 semesters:

component in the Summer Academy in Architecture for High School students

Fall 2024
ARCH 113
Architectural Design Core Studio I
ARCH 213 Architectural Design Core Studio III
ARCH 281/544 Architectural Analysis I
ARCH 335/536 Structure, Form and Order
AAH 121 History of Art and Architecture I
AAH 122 History of Art and Architecture II
REAL 101 Introduction to Real Estate

These courses fulfil requirements and elective options in undergraduate and graduate Architecture, Art and Architectural History, Preservation Studies, Preservation Practices, Real Estate and Urban and Regional Planning degree, minor and graduate certificate programs.

Job Requirements:

For ARCH 100, ARCH 113, ARCH 213, ARCH 281/544: Architecture professional degree and professional experience required.

For ARCH 335/536: Architectural professional degree and professional experience, or engineering degree with P.E. qualification and professional experience.

For AAH 121, 122: Ph.D. or ABD in Architectural or Art History, teaching experience.

For REAL 101: graduate or doctoral degree, teaching experience and professional experience in Real Estate, Planning, Preservation or related fields.

All Positions: Advanced degrees, previous teaching experience including engaging students from varying educational levels, and professional registration preferred.

At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
