Billing Coordinator at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Our client, a reputable global law firm, is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join their growing team! This position does not require requisite law firm industry experience and is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience in a new industry to expand his or her skills!


Key Functions:

• Review bill requests, identifying matters with escrow and/or unapplied cash balances; identifying inconsistencies or errors on bill requests and working through to resolution.


• Process all draft bill edits including transfers of fee and/or disbursement entries to correct client/matter(s) as submitted on bill request.


• Process monthly e-billing for assigned matters.


• Ad-hoc reporting and account analysis as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of billing and/or general accounting experience required


• E-billing experience required


• Legal billing experience with Aderant or Elite a plus, but not required


• Experience working in a law firm or legal industry preferred, but not required


• Proficient Excel skills
