Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Solution Architect within our team.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Creating and leading IT system integration processes to meet the organization's needs

  • Conducting regular evaluations of the system architecture and collaborating with project management teams to improve the designs

  • Evaluating any project constraints and devising alternatives to reduce risks, whilst performing process re-engineering

  • Keeping stakeholders updated about the status of the project development and budgets and notifying them immediately when issues arise

  • Analyzing and finding any impacts that that technical changes may have on a client's business proceeding

  • Supervising and motivating development teams to improve their efficiency and productivity

  • Performing continuous research on emerging technologies to stay updated with the best alternatives and to improve the existing architectures for clients




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent field

  • Five (5) years Full Time Equivalent (FTE) experience within the last ten (10) years of architecting and designing enterprise technology software solutions with a minimum value of $3M and at least 5,000 internal and external users (including the general public) in the public sector.

  • Two (2) additional years of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of architecting and designing enterprise technology software solutions.

  • Three (3) years of FTE experience within the last seven (7) years with the proposed technology to be implemented in the ERP project.

  • Two (2) additional years of FTE experience within the last seven (7) years with the proposed technology to be implemented in the ERP Project.

  • Two (2) years of FTE experience within the last five (5) years that includes GIS components.

  • Possess and maintain enterprise architecture certification in one (1) or more industry leading architecture frameworks.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
