Specialty Leasing has responsibility for the coordination and the execution of the department’s new business sourcing and dissemination of executed deals, together with other responsibilities as initiatives are established. The coordinator reports to the Vice President of Specialty Leasing, located in the Company’s Burlington office, and works closely with the various departments of the company as well as the prospective and current tenants
Detailed responsibilities:
Administrative:
Assist with incoming leasing inquiries & sourcing/lead generation through cold calling, internet searching using trade resources to develop relationships with new tenants
Assist in creating & distributing marketing materials to prospective tenants
Develop and maintain organizational processes and files
Assist with preparation & analysis of property level forecasts
Meticulously enter and track deals through internal and external channels, including Excel
Outreach through technology; Updating specialty leasing website listings (causallease.com, craigslist) and social media posts for team
Deal Flow Coordination:
Lease review/interpretation when necessary for no build, common area restrictions, exclusives clauses
Prepare lease documents for execution and coordination with region(s)
Process executed deals and payments to accounting and lease administration
Primary liaison between Property Managers and tenants for all contract obligations
Complete due diligence necessary to maximize potential income for each specialty leasing account and new initiatives as directed by agents
Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years job-related experience-real estate experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast pace, high volume environment
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to professionally interact with property managers, vendors and tenants, in a multitude of situations
Excellent administrative skills including but not limited to systems, organization and prioritization
Sound time and project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong working knowledge of Excel, Acrobat Adobe and social media outlets
