We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Supervise and support technicians in the field, providing assistance with troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
Handle dispatching of service calls, ensuring timely response to customer inquiries and requests
Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for service operations
Interact with customers to address inquiries, provide quotes, and ensure high levels of satisfaction
Prepare and process proposals, purchase orders, and billing documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Oversee maintenance and repair of company vehicles, addressing any issues promptly
Lead a team of 5-8 technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 10 years of field experience in HVAC, with a strong understanding of commercial systems
Proficiency in communication and phone skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members
Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes
Familiarity with service management software, preferably Service Fusion or similar platforms
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems ranging from 1 ton to 200 tons
Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of technicians effectively
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the HVAC industry
Certification or licensure in HVAC-related fields
