Meet the team:



You will join a best-in-class, creative state government relations, policy and advocacy team that has had continued success in driving Medicaid access for Dexcom's life-saving Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology.



Where you come in:



  • You will have a basic understanding of health policy at the state level, specifically Medicaid policy. You will manage tracking of key policies and develop a process for tracking key metrics for presentation to senior management.

  • You will design and implement key Medicaid data sources and metrics and will explore new data sources to help track state policy initiatives.

  • You will work cross-functionally to understand the various data sources within Dexcom and develop key metrics for the State Government Relations & Policy team.

  • You will develop summaries of key statistics and metrics at the state level to assist in driving success for the team's objectives.

  • You should have knowledge of key Federal data, policies and initiatives that would impact state strategies with regards to access.




What makes you successful:



  • You are experienced in analyzing key healthcare data metrics and summarizing key findings.

  • You bring experience in both health policy and data analytics.

  • You have experience in management of contractors.

  • Optional: You are experienced in working in a cross-functional, matrixed business organization.

  • Optional: you have experience in the healthcare/diabetes space.

  • Include "must have" abilities specific to the role. Examples could include specific skills needed to perform role, programming language knowledge, multi-lingual requirements, etc.

  • Optional, include "nice to have" items such as advanced degrees, certifications, specific industry experience, knowledge of additional systems, etc.

Travel Required:





  • 25 to 50%




Experience and Education Requirements:



  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5- 8 years of related experience.
