Overview
CCYC is seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will overtake a variety of responsibilities and duties such as restaurant, and catering operations management along with collaborating with the chef on menu creation, collaboration with the house committee, General Manager and board of directors, recruiting and hiring restaurant and catering staff, training, overseeing food quality, as well as greeting and ensuring excellent service and food quality for all club members.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the entire food & beverage operations
Deliver superior member services
Plan new and update throughout the year breakfast, lunch, dinner and pool menus in collaboration with Executive Chef, house committee and General Manager
Plan wine, liquor and beer menus to maximize the quality of the operations and ensure member stratification
Plan and develop the overall restaurant operating strategy
Respond efficiently to member questions and comments
Organize and supervise all shifts
Manage and lead all Food & Beverage staff
Hire and discharge employees
Training and evaluating staff performance
Create weekly and monthly forecasts and annual budgets
Take weekly and monthly food and beverage inventory along with an annual asset inventory.
Manage restaurant supplies
Control costs and minimize waste
Nurture a positive working environment
Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and increase sales
Qualifications
3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in a private club environment
At least 5 years of experience in customer service food operations management
