Our progressive, growing, thriving client is looking for a dynamic Building Maintenance Lead who has commercial engineering experience with offices, retail, and medical buildings.
Building automation systems, HVAC units, and boilers experience is required.
The ideal candidate should have project management and capital planning experience.
Candidates will be well-versed in all aspects of maintenance, commercial building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, drywall/paint, general repair, etc.).
EPA Universal license preferred
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
Work independently and as well as collaboratively with a team.
Candidates must be okay working outside and have the ability to work on a rooftop (ability to climb ladders).
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.
DUTIES:
Oversee Maintenance for mixed portfolio, class A type, maintaining the day-to-day maintenance for approximately 350,000 sq. ft of Class A office, medical, and retail space.
Manage building automation systems, HVAC units, boilers, etc.
Assist Chief Engineer
Other duties include but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in all buildings as needed.
Preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities, equipment, fixtures, and systems.
Inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds to determine conditions needing maintenance and repair work.
Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
Respond to emergency repair requests.
Work rotational on-call schedule.
