A Project Manager will lead a team of EIT's, designers, and CAD Technicians to prepare construction plans, specifications, exhibits, reports, quantities, cost estimates, etc. for various land development projects.
Coordinate with clients to understand scope of work and estimated hours.
Expected to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Prepare engineering plans/documents to be in compliance with regulatory agencies and communicate with clients regarding project timelines and issues, and accurate maintenance of files and contracts is required.
Exercises sound decision making, takes initiative and exhibits sound judgment/knowledge showing responsibility of projects.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Performs assignments in the design of commercial, single family, multi-family and mixed-use developments - including roadway, domestic water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer drainage system design.
Creates, executes, and revises project work plans as appropriate to meet client needs.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project/scope and client interactions.
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client or submitting for jurisdictional review.
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Tracks and reports project hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Understands basic revenue models, cost-to-completion projections, pricing models, and billing procedures. Make decisions accordingly.
Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
