Adecco Search has partnered with a top manufacturing client to find a full time Project Engineer in the Nashville metro area.
This position will plan and coordinate manufacturing and plant projects. They will be responsible for estimating, forecasting, resourcing, and monitoring projects to ensure accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitoring progress to ensure adherence to timelines and targets.
Estimating and procuring necessary resources, materials, and equipment for project execution.
Overseeing construction, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Developing and controlling the full project-plan lifecycle by coordinating each phase of the project(s).
Ensuring compliance to standards, codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and specifications
Calculating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring project is completed within budget.
Collaborating with various stakeholders, such as internal teams, external vendors, and contractors, to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
Overseeing Project Team and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field required
3+ years of relative project management/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience managing manufacturing/automation projects exceeding $1M is highly preferred
Proficiency with engineering tools/software
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
