Job Description:

Place Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Refrigeration Project Manager for our Refrigeration Division to be based out of our Canton, GA office location.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of refrigeration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration engineering, project management, and team leadership. They will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do:

  • the planning and execution of refrigeration projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to define project requirements and develop comprehensive project plans.
  • project budgets, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
  • materials, equipment, and subcontractor services necessary for project implementation, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
  • leadership and direction to project teams, including internal staff and external partners, to ensure efficient project execution and successful outcomes.
  • regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • effective communication channels with stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
  • compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • and submit project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and closeout documents, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • seek opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and cost optimization to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.
  • all phases of refrigeration projects, including procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • project plans, schedules, and budgets and ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets.
  • with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure project requirements are met.

  • and schedule on site PSI employees and ensure their compliance with company policy and safety requirements
  • and mitigate risks to project delivery and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
  • site visits and inspections to monitor work progress and quality standards.
  • and present project reports, including cost tracking, schedule updates, and risk assessments, to senior management.

What You Bring:

  • experience in project management, preferably in the refrigeration or HVAC industry.
  • technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, equipment, and components.
  • leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to refrigeration projects.
  • driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
