***This is a Mid-Senior position and we are seeking a minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with combination of Cost Accounting and Financial Analyst background
The role manages the consolidation, reporting, and budgeting of the Operations functions of the business including Procurement, Distribution, Logistics, and Program cost savings. This position is located at Current's Beachwood, OH office. This role requires 4 days a week in the office with 1 day remote.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Partnering with operations at both the plant and distribution center level
Perform month end closing activities (including journal entry preparation) and reporting for the Regional distribution centers, Shipping, and Customs
Presentation of distribution center reporting to senior leadership
Provide procurement cost reporting and analysis, to include purchase price variance, inbound/outbound freight variance, and duties
Partnering with Logistics team to understand drivers of freight spend, variances to Plan, and forward-looking forecasting
Ongoing analysis and support of the organization's Total Cost Out (TCO) savings opportunities
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for distribution centers and Supply Chain purchase variances
Implement and manage standard month-end CAPEX reporting and communication of payment forecasting with Treasury
Support for Supply Chain leadership in maintenance of monthly Operations Deck
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with combination of Cost Accounting and Financial Analyst background
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Supply Chain Finance experience desirable.
Significant analytical and quantitative skill set.
Strong decision-making, multi-tasking, and execution abilities under tight deadlines.
Experience with SAP preferable, and MS Office (or equivalents) desirable.
Demonstrated success working among cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
