The Opportunity
Due to Texwin's on-going success and expansion, the need has arisen to recruit a next generation Director of Manufacturing. This Director of Manufacturing will manage the plant production, manufacturing, and overall operating performance for 5 production facilities. This executive will have the opportunity to join a highly successful company and advance the operating efficiency of all plant operations, while championing data driven management principles. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for managing all plant operations. Continued growth and expansion are expected, and this Manager will be responsible for both the tactical management of these production lines as well as the strategic operational planning to support growth, while optimizing bottom line performance.

Responsibilities
As the Director of Manufacturing, you will work to support the senior management team to develop a "best-in-class" manufacturing and operational plant. The Director of Manufacturing must be able to work cross-functionally with a broad set of team members, use business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, and critical thinking to craft and implement holistic solutions that meet business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Focus on process improvement and capacity expansion to support growth
Work to achieve plant goals, optimize production scheduling and budgets, and contribute to creating an excellent customer experience by delivering high quality buildings to customers on-time and on-spec
Develop the production managers and foremen so that they understand all Key Performance Indicator (KPI) expectations and budgets and have the training and tools to be proactive in achieving goals
Collaborate with the scheduling team to utilize production capabilities to meet customer needs and create a market-leading order-to-delivery lead time
Institute policies and procedures as required
Provide performance reviews for direct reports
Mentor, motivate and recognize staff and employees
Establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement to identify and implement improvements in work methods, procedures and operations that increase efficiency, profitability, quality, and safety
Hire, develop, and retain management and operations personnel, providing direction, leadership, mentoring, and motivation with the objective of building and maintaining a high performing organization
Build trusted working relationships with team members and other business partners
The Candidate
Education
An undergraduate degree, advanced degree and or professional certifications are a plus but not required. Plant management experience is what we are seeking.
Professional Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years professional experience with prior plant management or general management responsibility for a manufacturing plant, business unit or enterprise
A proven track record of operational improvement, "good to great" and a KPI dedicated management style
Prior experience in high growth environments a plus
Aggressive "can do" attitude combined with a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality
