We are GROWING, and we are looking for an EXPERIENCED Estimator to generate estimates in the commercial restoration and renovation industry.
The Estimator will be responsible for meeting with clients, developing quality and competitive estimates using construction estimating software, providing an accurate scope of work and writing an accurate estimate that will allow for profitable production of the project.

Hours: As a salaried (exempt) employee you are expected to give full professional attention to your work and to be normally available during business hours. While hours may fluctuate to meet department expectations and workloads; you may be required to work evenings, weekends and to travel.
Required Skills / Abilities
Proven work experience as an estimator
Complete documents on time, such as construction bids, customer proposals, change orders, weekly call reports
Follow up on all outstanding RFPs and estimates with clients
Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large and small projects.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Proficiencies in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
Creating labor estimates for any project
Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
Managing bids from vendors and contractors
Using bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis
Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders
Compiling and recording actual costs
Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a service to potential customers
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in estimating
Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships, and network
Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
Self-directed and able to work without supervision

Proficient computer and Pad skills, including Micro Soft (office, Excel)
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, statistics, construction, engineering
Or Associate Estimating Professional Certification or Certified Professional Estimator.
5 years of construction estimating experience
Mitigation/Restoration experience desired
Xactimate experience (Required)
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of seating, standing, and walking
Able to utilize a ladder, climb onto a roof, and inspect the roof
