The Estimating Manager will provide oversight and guidance to the estimating staff during the pre-construction phase of the project. Project opportunities will include a variety of contract delivery methods primarily focused on the Energy and Industrial markets. They will implement company processes and procedures while continuously adapting and looking for ways to improve. They will coordinate and communicate with multiple divisions of the organization including estimating staff, project controls, field operations staff, legal counsel, and corporate management to ensure estimates are reviewed appropriately and align with company goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Provide support, guidance, and training to direct reports to promote growth.
Work closely with Business Development and GM for alignment of Salesforce structure and utilization
Effective estimates follow up and recording for accurate up to date information assessment and follow through actions
Create SOP's for estimating standards and load leveling

Education and Experience:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or relevant years of experience in related field preferred.
Minimum 4-7 years of estimating experience required.
Prior pipe fabrication and pipe estimating experience is highly preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Must be proficient in Salesforce
Previous experience with software systems including but not limited to SAP, P6, InEight Estimate, Trimble Accubid, and Navisworks is highly preferred.
Ability to navigate specifications and plans
Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
Ability to handle multiple assignments at once
Close attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to travel periodically (10-20%).
