Our client is a portfolio company of Alpine Investors that will serve as a platform to consolidate businesses. The company is a service-based business. The Team

The executive team is comprised of experienced operators from the Alpine ecosystem, former congressmen, professional athletes, elite MBAs, etc. It's an all-star team that is going to execute at a very high level. This is a chance to join an extremely high-performing team as they execute a buy-and-build strategy backed by top investors that will change their industry.

Job Description

This role will own the full operating P&L of a business in Long Island, New York and will be responsible for driving organic growth of the business.

You will be supported by regional presidents, partner services teams that work at the holdco level, and adjacent business CEOs.

The CEO will oversee all aspects of a location's day-to-day operations; the person is the 'sunrise and sunset' for the entire business. The individual will drive growth, performance metrics, create an amazing workplace culture and develop all staff and management, constantly striving to be a world-class operator and helping others to do the same. In addition to full P&L ownership, the CEO is responsible for capturing a major MSA through organic growth, adding trade lines, and possibly doing tuck-in M&A.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Successful integration of tuck-in acquisitions that occur in your market area
  2. Hiring and managing business leaders within your company
  3. Partnering with peer CEOs to ensure that best practices are shared across the full platform
  4. Working with Regional Presidents to share best practices


Your Professional Qualifications

  • Experience in high-pressure leadership roles with a demonstrated track record of exceptional performance (military, government, athletics)
  • High marks for top educational institutions
  • A documented history of achieving measurable outcomes across disparate situations
  • Experience in banking or consulting is preferred, though not mandatory
  • A successful track record of P&L ownership with demonstrated results is a bonus, but not mandatory
  • Experience successfully leading teams in high-growth environments
  • Demonstrated success in implementing systems
  • A record of driving operational excellence that improved the financial performance of past companies
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven ability to attract, retain and develop top talent skills
