The candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring the operations of our systems, including quality and compliance. The candidate should also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data. The candidate should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
Responsible lead for process parameters, definition and documentation.
Serves as the lead for problem solving regarding welding and joining process parameters, diagnosing hardware and software.
Implements cost analysis process in welding (scrap reduction).
Supports and trains process technicians on robot tasks and problem-solving techniques for welding issues.
Responsible for process flow of engineering changes and introduction of those into production.
Performs root cause analysis on re-occurring problems.
Process Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Preferred experience with resistance and projecting welding of steel and aluminum
Preferred experience with Lazer welding
Excellent written and oral skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
