The Senior Manager of Investments leads, develops, and manages a team (or teams) within the Investments department. Exhibits and embraces Equity Trust Company (ETC) Core Values and leads their team to do the same. Supports the goals and objectives of ETC leadership, collaborates effectively across the organization, and provides an excellent client experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops, implements, and improves team processes and procedures
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency of the team work product
Reviews and interprets daily/weekly/monthly metrics
Establishes, monitors, and communicates team and individual productivity targets
Develops and implements plans to manage daily workflow and meet service and productivity targets
Hires high-quality, best-fit candidates
Meets with individual team members monthly to provide feedback on performance
Implements team and individual training needs and continuing education opportunities
Prepares and delivers corrective action plans
Completes quarterly performance appraisals in accordance with ETC guidelines
Leads special projects
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Coordinates with Supervisors and Team Leads to establish work schedules and maintain appropriate coverage
Manages special projects within the team and supports projects and initiatives across the organization
Assists with the annual budget process
Forecasts staffing needs and plan accordingly
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business or equivalent work experience
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a retirement plan environment
Supervisory experience managing multiple business units

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Advanced analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The Associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. It requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
