Job Description:

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President Human Resource North America, this position of HRIS Project Leader North America will support and maintain the organization's HRIS applications and modules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include proper implementation of the processes, new modules, and data quality and consistency of ongoing production.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, training, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Provides training to all levels of the organization as required.
  • Works with HR Leaders and HRConnect Europe to ensure proper permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users and managers.
  • Advance report writing, analysis experience is required.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, managers, and employees, for implementation, change management, and training.
  • Ensures confidentiality and security of personal data is maintained within the system for user and user access.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS technology.
  • Organizes new modules, change communication, timelines for deployment, and action plans to drive their success.
  • Daily project management regarding the system.
  • Works as the Liaison between North America and the European HRC team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field required. At least three years of related experience required with at least one year in a supervisory position preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Driver's License.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages subordinates in department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet applications. Must be familiar with internet research, Microsoft Office software, and the use of e-mail.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
