Fraser Dove International is partnering exclusively with a a global leader in the development and manufacturing of complex active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for pharma and biotech customers. With deep technical expertise and impressive flexibility, they develop solutions and processes that support and accelerate innovation.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Global Director of Total Rewards. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Global Director will spearhead the development and execution of the global total rewards strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Total Rewards Strategy Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive global total rewards strategy that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent, while driving business results. This includes compensation, benefits, recognition, and other rewards programs.
  2. Influence and Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with regional HR leaders to understand local market dynamics and tailor total rewards initiatives accordingly. Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for global initiatives.
  3. Domain Expertise: Demonstrate deep expertise in total rewards principles, trends, and best practices. Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure rewards programs remain competitive and compliant.
  4. Global/Multicultural Experience: Navigate the complexities of a global organization, taking into account cultural nuances and regulatory requirements across regions. Foster a cohesive rewards strategy that resonates with diverse employee populations.
  5. Entrepreneurial/Agile Mindset: Drive innovation and agility in total rewards practices, adapting quickly to changing business needs and market conditions. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
  6. Ethical Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and compliance in all total rewards practices. Ensure fairness, transparency, and equity in reward allocation, promoting trust and engagement among employees.
  7. Collaboration with Manufacturing, Commercial, and Executive Teams: Partner closely with key business functions to design and implement rewards programs that recognize and incentivize performance at all levels of the organization, from frontline manufacturing staff to executive leadership.
  8. Streamlining and Harmonization: Streamline and harmonize existing rewards programs to eliminate redundancy, enhance efficiency, and create a consistent employee experience across the organization.
  9. Customization and Flexibility: Balance the need for global consistency with the flexibility to customize rewards programs to meet the unique needs of different regions and employee groups, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in total rewards management, with a focus on global/multinational organizations.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading total rewards strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits practices in both manufacturing and commercial environments.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and innovation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
