Sogeti USA is looking for an Azure Data Solutions Architect who has experience within the P&C insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions on the Azure cloud platform, with a focus on Microsoft Fabric. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, strong architectural skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions on the Azure platform.
Design and architect end-to-end data solutions using with Microsoft data tools including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.
Must have Microsoft Fabric knowledge to implement efficient data processing pipelines, storage solutions, and data integration patterns.
Develop data models, schemas, and structures optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement security and compliance measures to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance within the Azure environment.
Optimize data solutions for cost-effectiveness, considering factors such as resource utilization, data storage, and data transfer.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation and deployment phases.
Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities to maintain the health and efficiency of data solutions.
Stay updated on the latest Azure services, best practices, and industry trends related to data architecture and fabric technologies.
Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement in data solutions architecture.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Data Solutions Architect in the Property, Casualty and Specialty insurance industry
In-depth knowledge of Azure services relevant to data solutions, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, etc.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric concepts and experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring ADF pipelines for data integration and transformation.
Hands-on experience with data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks in the context of cloud environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications are a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
