Kelly Engineering has an exciting long-term opportunity available for a Daily Maintenance Field Planner in the Seadrift, Texas area! The Daily Maintenance Field Planner is a person experienced in doing maintenance who has the skills and knowledge to create a job package from the work order scope. The package contains all information about required labor, material, and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work.
Key job responsibilities include:
time in field to accurately assess and plan repair work that is not archived
plans to safety and effectively perform repairs
job packages with all the necessary documents as determined by Best Practice
participates and leverages within Planner network
Internet search capabilities to locate and identify spare parts for ordering
with site Materials Management Department for ordering parts
planning efficiency by using Planner metrics
work requests as needed
Global Maintenance Work Process role as required
and participates in Root Cause Investigations
and trains other on planning; able and willing to share knowledge for betterment of the team
good verbal and written communications skills
have strong computer skills as a great deal of plant communication occurs via Dow workstations
opportunities for planning optimization
Requirements for Qualification:
School Graduate or GED
interpersonal skills are required, both written and verbal
planning experience a plus; work will be in an industrial / chemical plant environment
