The Color/Materials Designer for Hardgoods and Footwear will generate and maintain Illustrator line drawings and color CADs as needed by the cross-functional teams for presentations, specs, line lists, etc.
Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Responsible for creating technically accurate color-ready illustrator line art from rough designer concept sketches.
Creates seasonal color CADs as guided by the Interim Design Director for presentations, tech packs, specs, and line lists as needed by cross-functional partners.
Updates line art and color CADs to reflect design updates.
Renders material designs for communication with vendors for new material developments.
Manages file archives and sharing for access by cross-functional team partners.

Qualifications and Competencies:
Excellent eye for color and materials with a keen attention to detail.
Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and Google/Microsoft suites.
Efficient and organized.
Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize critical timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently or in collaboration with team members and cross-functional partners.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, illustration, or Industrial Design and/or equivalent work experience
1-3 years experience in a similar role with an emphasis on Adobe Illustrator workflows.
