  About Position
  

• We are currently placing an Engineering Intern/Co-Op to join our Electrical Professional Design team. We have a number of exciting projects in house serving clients in the industrial, department of defense, and commercial industries. Our Intern/Co-Ops work directly with electrical engineers on project teams to support our projects. This role will primarily consist of drafting electrical building systems in the BIM software Revit. Revit allows our interns/Co-Ops to see a building designed in a three-dimensional space and allows them to see how each component of a building affects another. This role will also consist of assisting engineers in calculations that include photometrics, voltage drop, short circuit analysis, etc.
  
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  
  • Engineering student in an ABET accredited university, on track for a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  
  
  • Completed 2+ years of course work.
  
  
  • Creative, Adaptive and Flexible.
  
  
  • Interested in Electrical Building Systems and Electrical Distribution Systems.
  
  
  • Understand the basics of Electrical Engineering.
  
  
  • Ability to conduct written and verbal communications in English.
  
  
  • Familiarity with designing and drafting in AutoCAD and Revit is highly considered.
  
  
  • Prior Internship with related experience is highly considered.

Additional Information


Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Electrical Intern with a salary range of $16.54 - $21.97 .
