The Department of Dermatology has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Aesthetician to work on the UHealth Campus. The Aesthetician specializes in skin care and performs a variety of facial and body procedures to increase, improve, and maintain the appearance and health of human skin. Additionally, the incumbent enhances the quality of skin through a variety of services, such as facials, color analysis, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, hair removal, and other relevant procedures. The Aesthetician also treats chronic skin conditions.

• Evaluate patients' skin condition and offer treatment recommendations
  
  


• Provide facials as well as acne treatments
  
  


• Ability to develop a plan of action for patient's care
  
  


• Must have knowledge of skin care techniques
  
  


• Ability to communicate effectively with patients
  
  


• Must have a current / active Florida Esthetician's license and Electrolysis license for hair removal
  
  


• Strong written communication skills and strong verbal skills to relay information to patients, providers and staff
  
  


• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
  
  


• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  
  


• Certification in relevant specialty or field
  
  


• Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
  
  


• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  
  


• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  
  


• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

• Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
