Position Description

The Accounting Support role is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable team in a variety of accounting duties and responsibilities.

Position Requirements

• Prepare, match and/or process deposits, picking tickets/packing slips, deposits, and accounts payable invoices
• Post accounting transactions in accounting software
• Upload, organize, and file accounting department documents (reports, postings, copies, invoices) as per department protocols.
• Update and maintain all assigned logs and tracking workbooks in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Support accounting team

?Other Criteria:

• 3+ years progressively responsible experience in an Accounting Department
• Associates in Accounting (or experience equivalent) required , Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, techniques and methods.
• Ability to identify issues and offer solutions.
• Able to maintain focus and achieve goals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Pay to commensurate with experience
