Our capabilities include terrestrial and geodetic surveying, laser scanning, airborne topographic and bathymetric lidar, aerial surveys, digital terrain modeling, and satellite mapping and monitoring.
The Senior CAD Specialist will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and deliverables for various surveying projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical and organizational skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have a thorough understanding of CAD software and industry standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Produce detailed survey drawings and technical designs using CAD software
Review and analyze survey designs and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project timelines and goals are met
Organize and maintain project files and documentation, including CAD files and revisions
Provide technical support and guidance to junior CAD operators
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CAD software and hardware
Encourage continuous improvement of the company's processes, including safety program and quality management systems
Ensure accordance with company standards, industry standards, QHSSE policy, and local regulations
Job Requirements:
Legally Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions
Associates degree in CAD/Drafting from a two-year college or technical school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD drafting
Possess working knowledge of computers and fluent in a variety of software applications (including but not limited to MS Office)
Possess working knowledge of the Windows operating system, including but not limited to Windows 7
Must have excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently without supervision or with minimal supervision as well as working in a team environment
