The Membership Analyst role requires the ability to analyze data, use excel skills to identify discrepancy trends, and requires good decision-making skills. The Membership Analyst must have the ability to work independently, and the ability to multi-task. The Membership Analyst must be organized, detail oriented and able to work under pressure and meet customer contractual deadlines. The Membership Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate analysis of assigned customers chargeback errors related to customer master data and membership discrepancies, including reconciliation of discrepancies for the assigned accounts. The Membership Analyst must be able to communicate clearly and decisively with customers, co-workers, and management.


Essential Functions:


  • Process and analyze chargebacks on a daily basis for errors related to customer master and membership. Determine trading partner eligibility by researching customers files, logging into customer portals, etc. Work closely with customers to resolve any membership errors to avoid rejection of chargeback lines.

  • Validate DEA and state licensing utilizing external website to verify the customer’s license is active. Research customers HIN and determine appropriate COT to ensure accurate government price reporting. Validate accuracy of 340B IDs and ensure only HRSA approved facilities have access to government mandated pricing.

  • Utilize AMM tool in Flex to ensure accurate membership eligibilty. Utilize XRAY tool in Flex to independently prioritize workload to accurately clear the high volume of transactions as quickly as possible in order to avoid inaccurate accruals.

  • Assist with reconciling open AR as it relates to membership and works with customers and AR team to close them out. Identify root causes of issues with discrepancies and recommend corrective action to eliminate future occurrences and reduce outstanding chargeback deduction balance. Responsible for keeping open AR chargebacks current and at a minimal dollar amount.


 

Education:


  • High School or GED - Required

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) - Preferred

Experience:


  • 2 years or more in Bookkeeping / Accounting / Finance / of similar experience

Skills:


  • Great communication skills including written and verbal - Intermediate

  • Able to process information and effectively make decisions - Intermediate

  • Microsoft Office experience, Excel knowledge a must - Advanced
