Job Description:

• maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for the production of food products


• operating, monitoring and understanding the CIP systems and COP systems


• manually and hand cleaning silo and pipeline parts


• operating and maintaining equipment in the CIP room


• receiving bulk chemicals


• maintaining accurate written cleaning reports and checklists


• cleaning production hallways, and assisting in cleaning all plant areas as needed

• good understanding of sanitation practices and principles, including manual and automated cleaning


• willing to work in a team environment as well as independently


• ability to work flexible days and hours


• must have the ability to lift 50 pounds


• must have basic mechanical ability


• must have the ability to climb ladders to clean over head piping


• basic computer, reading, and math skills 


• good written and verbal communication skills


• ability to solve problems in the work area with little supervision
