An employer in the Tempe, AZ area is looking for a large group of Dispatchers to work hybrid as they are staffing up for one of this company's busiest time of the year. These individuals will be responsible for taking a heavy amount of phone calls and helping coordinate and communicate between carriers and facilities. This is a heavy phone support role taking mostly calls from truck drivers, so we are looking for candidates who are comfortable taking a heavy number of inbound calls and helping resolve issues.
We are looking for individuals who are driven, have excellent communication skills and are quick learners. In addition, we are looking for individuals who have flexibility with schedules, are willing to work mandatory overtime up to 20 hours of OT per week for occasional weeks of the year, and must be comfortable working holidays including MLK Day, Easter, Memorial Day and 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
Desired Skills and Experience:
1+ years of recent relevant experience in a heavy phone support role
Strong communication and customer service skills and patience, must be comfortable in a heavy phone support role.
Experience using Excel and overall tech savvy
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once, and must have ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced environment
Must have a flexible schedule and be ok with overtime
Must be ok working through holidays such as Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve
Able to start on Monday 4/1
Able to consistently work weekends
Able to work either of the following shifts: 9:30am - 6pm and 1:30pm to 10pm
Able to work a HYBRID schedule in Tempe, AZ
Pay = $20.82/hr
