Duravant's Supply Chain function is excited to add a Vice President of SIOP & Materials Management. This Senior Global Supply Chain leader will work in a highly collaborative and consultative environment, working closely with the leadership team of the Duravant family of Operating Companies to develop and deliver the global strategic vision and execution for materials planning and inventory management. TheVP of SIOP & Materials Management utilizes strong subject matter expertise to drive inventory optimization consistent with business needs and changing demand in the marketplace. As an executive leader, our new Vice President must be a problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and uses change management to coach others. This role requires previous experience owning and leading SIOP/Materials functions within a manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory management into a cohesive SIOP process.
Deliver the execution of materials planning and inventory management globally, standardizing our SIOP processes across all Duravant operating companies in partnership with supply chain and operations leaders in direct and indirect reporting structures
Effectively navigate a multiple ERP environment across operating companies, creating ways to efficiently standardize materials planning processes in a dynamic environment
Improve operational performance in OTD to internal and external customers, reduced days on hand, and cash generation by focusing on business process development from procurement, receiving, warehousing, and freight management
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to teams across the global sites as it relates to SIOP, procurement, materials planning and inventory management
Develop global standards for OC's inventory management processes - ABC XYZ implementation, cycle counting standardization and compliance, sales forecasting to accurate manufacturing planning, ERP maintenance, etc.
Work with the operating companies' procurement teams to drive inventory optimization leveraging vendor value through consignment, VMI, vendor warehousing, and kanban partnerships
Confident using lean tools to drive and manage change - X-Matix, A3's, Bowlers, Daily Management, KPI's Servant Leadership
Continuously analyze the SIOP process identifying potential business risks or opportunities, mitigating or delivering respectively
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in a technical field required (Engineering, Supply Chain), MBA a plus
15+ years of relevant SIOP and inventory management experience; specifically in roles implementing, improving and optimizing SIOP process and tools
5+ years experience leading global SIOP teams delivering exceptional results
Ability to lead and direct transformational change across multiple operating companies with cross functional manufacturing and distribution organizations globally; proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at senior levels
A high level of interpersonal and project management skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, critical thinking and problem solving skills; must be able to thrive in a dynamic environment using change management to coach others
Hands-On and demonstrated experiences in building SIOP and materials planning best practices
Must be proficient in MS Office and experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
A minimum 40% travel
