Acara Solutions is seeking a talented Sr. Accountant to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Rolling Meadows IL
Responsible for intricate accounting tasks, you'll ensure financial statement accuracy and timeliness, supporting strategic goals through expert reporting
Salary 110 - 130K plus bonus

- Responsible for complex accounting tasks, ensuring financial statement accuracy and timeliness
- Oversees general accounting functions including payables, receivables, and ledger management
- Orchestrates audits and recommends procedural enhancements
- Handles budgeting, ad hoc analysis, tax compliance, and maintains GAAP adherence
- Proficiency in GAAP, Excel, and financial reporting is essential
- Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication finesse
- Proven track record in audits and data management
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or a related area
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation
- Proven ability to work with large amounts of data and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
