ABOUT THE BRAND

Temple St. Clair founded her namesake company in 1986 in Florence, Italy, thus beginning her collaboration with the world's finest goldsmiths. Nearly four decades later, and now headquartered in New York, Temple St. Clair is recognized as one of America's pre-eminent independent jewelry brands with a collection of timeless, recognizable designs that span fine jewelry, high jewelry and haute couture. In 2017, Temple St. Clair joined Louis Comfort Tiffany and Alexander Calder as the third American jewelry designer whose work is represented in permanent collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts at the Louvre in Paris. In September 2023, TSC opened its first retail boutique in the Meatpacking District in downtown Manhattan.

ABOUT THE ROLE

TSC is currently looking to hire a dynamic, motivated, and energetic part time Client Advisor to join our growing DTC team. In this role, you will be all about the client, serving as an advisor to those who walk through the door, call, text, email or DM us directly. You will nurture existing client relationships and proactively cultivate new ones, always striving to meet sales goals and to expand our roster of happy TSC clients.

The Client Advisor (part time) will serve as an ambassador of the TSC brand, embodying our philosophy and values with every interaction. Through expert storytelling and in-depth product knowledge, you will deliver exemplary experiences that define Temple St. Clair.

This role is based in our boutique, and the Client Advisor (part time) will possess a comprehensive understanding of the boutique's operations. You will collaborate with the Boutique Director and broader DTC team to optimize performance daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Ambassador:
  • Demonstrate passion for the brand and an excitement (and aptitude) for learning about it, including but not limited to products, brand storytelling, social responsibility, services, and marketing messages.
  • Provide excellent client experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism within the store environment as well as during outside events. Represent brand in polite and professional manner.
  • Ensure each client receives exceptional customer service and provide a welcoming environment in the Boutique.
  • Maintain a clean working environment and ensure presentation of the product consistently adheres to TSC standards.
  • Participate in maintaining a positive work environment.

Sales Achievement:
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Work with Boutique Director on special / bespoke client requests.
  • Support after-sales clients with helpful solutions in accordance with TSC values.
  • Support e-commerce clients and phone inquiries and schedule in-boutique appointments upon request.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Demonstrate expertise in clientelling, cultivating new relationships and nurturing existing ones.
  • Partner with the Boutique Director and the broader DTC team on CRM initiatives.
  • Accurately capture client data for all prospects and clients. Consistently follow-up with clients and use CRM tools to effectively build relationships.
  • Support the Boutique and Corporate Team with in-store and off-site events; develop community relationships, exploring potential events to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Cultivate relationships and offer special, dedicated, and curated services to our VIP's.

Daily Boutique Operations
  • Understand and comply with all Policies and Procedures set by the TSC brand.
  • Assist with daily set-up and breakdown of the Boutique.
  • Actively participate in periodic inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with operational requests in a timely manner when needed from Corporate Team.
  • Maintain visual integrity adhering to brand standards for vitrines and boutique aesthetic. Alert management to any maintenance issue.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma. College degree preferred.
  • 2 years + experience in selling luxury goods.
  • Passion for fine jewelry and high jewelry.
  • Experience in Shopify and Endear is a plus.
  • A drive to meet and exceed sales goals and customer expectations.
  • Excellent understanding of the luxury client experience and customer service.
  • Computer proficiency: Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Flexibility to work on evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Expected Salary Range: $26/hr - $32/hr + Commission structure

Salary will be commensurate with relevant skill-set and experience.
