Duration: 8+month contract with possibility of extensions or full-time conversion
Location: Durham, NC responsible for going onsite 1-2X a month
Rate: $40- $45 hourly W2
Our industry-leading client is looking for a Program Manager that will be responsible for Project & Portfolio Management for multiple workstreams. In this role you will be responsible for status reports and ensuring the portfolio of projects are on time and within scope and budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to align projects with business objectives. The ideal candidate will hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and have a background in healthcare.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Qualifications for the IT Project/Portfolio Manager:
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presenting to key stakeholders and project teams
Strong program leadership and experience working across multiple workstreams
Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification highly preferred
Healthcare background preferred
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues
Experience with Agile & Waterfall
Bachelors Degree
Experience effectively tracking and managing program level risks and driving towards solutions
