Job Description:

Purpose

This person will plan, execute, and finalize AV and digital signage national installation projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude projects
  • Documents and tracks conversations with internal and external parties in relation to projects
  • Mitigates risks that would impact the ability to bring a project in, at, or below budget
  • Ensures a safe working environment for the client employee's, technicians, and contractors on site
  • Processes and reacts quickly to last minute changes and requests - often times beyond normal business hours
  • Clearly understands and communicates the scope of a project
  • Follows up on day to day shipments to and from field operations/installers
  • Manages field operations installations, making sure all project requirements are completed timely and within budget
  • Builds and executes project plans, schedules, updates and details to the customer and project team
  • Maintains overall project budget, tracks and manages job costs
  • Works closely with design team and reviews CAD designs and scope of work for accuracy and consistency
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint and working with internal teams
  • Processes paperwork and reports required for the project including budget progress reports, back charges, project photos, installer invoices, etc.
  • Ensures jobs are reconciled and sent to bill on a weekly basis
  • Request job close out once all necessary documentation is received from client and subcontractors
  • Initiates RMA's and Warranties with client and technician and works with Project Coordination team through completion
  • Travel to new site locations may be required (rare but often at last minute)
  • Participates in ongoing necessary technical training and course work
  • Manages task board efficiently
  • Submits time billing daily in ERP system
  • Participates in kickoff calls ensuring all necessary information is captured
  • Transitions projects to Customer Service and Support department
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years AV and/or Construction project management experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred
  • Must possess ability to perform successfully in fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphere
  • Must be capable of building a project plan
  • Must understand the various project billing methods and create a schedule of values (AIA, progressive, project completed etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Internet, Excel/Word/Outlook, Q360 experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in keeping others on task
