Job Description:

We are partnered with a rapidly growing Insurance Technology start-up that is leveraging cutting-edge technology to change the insurance space. They are looking to grow their commercial organization and are looking for a top Product Manager to join their team in a *HYBRID* model in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Market Research: Perform in-depth market research to gain insights into industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Utilize these findings to guide product strategy and development initiatives effectively.
  • Engage with Customers: Directly interact with customers across multiple channels to gather feedback, identify pain points, and understand their preferences. Translate customer insights into actionable features and enhancements for the product.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, underwriting, and development teams to ensure alignment between product development, market requirements, and marketing strategies.
  • Develop Product Vision and Strategy: Create and maintain a clear product roadmap that reflects market trends and company objectives. Ensure effective communication of the product vision across all organizational levels.
  • Analyze Competitors: Monitor competitor products and strategies, leveraging insights to refine our product positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize data analytics to drive informed decisions regarding product direction, feature prioritization, and performance measurement.
  • Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Partner with the marketing team to design and implement impactful go-to-market strategies for product launches and updates.
  • Manage Feedback Loop: Establish and manage a structured feedback loop system to collect, analyze, and act upon customer and market feedback effectively.

Basic Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in product management.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research.
  • Strong background in customer engagement and feedback collection.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying opportunities, prioritizing tasks, and measuring success.
  • Creative and strategic thinking abilities to drive product innovation and market success.
