Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a Bilingual Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Hanover Park, IL. You would lead the Quality team and drive excellence in operations. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, managing a team of Quality Inspectors, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in Quality, with a minimum of 3 years in the automotive industry and be fluent in Spanish. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, including hiring, training, and performance management of Quality Inspectors.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related matters, including conducting supplier audits and resolving quality issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of quality-related activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Foster a culture of quality and excellence within the organization, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality, with at least 3 years in the automotive industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify actionable insights.
  • Experience managing a team of Quality Inspectors and driving performance improvements.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies, such as ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and results.
