Job Description:

This position requires a combination of strong IT technical skills and business acumen to help drive process improvements across the accounting organization through the use of automation. The ideal candidate will have significant technical and/or business experience with SAP and Redwood and demonstrated ability to drive change through the use of automation. The position will require an ability to analyze an existing manual business process and to re-imagine the process as predominantly automated, challenging existing processes where applicable. The position will work across departments with particular focus on the intersection of the accounting and IT groups.

  • Must have: Redwood Run my Finance functional and technical ( mild coding experience)
  • Develop legacy "as is" process flows of targeted manual accounting processes, or critically examine and modify as necessary existing process flow diagrams
  • Communicate process flows to accounting management and subject matter experts, challenging existing processes where inefficiencies are identified
  • Identify and document business requirements for the "to be" automated accounting process
  • Communicate and obtain "sign off" of the "to be" automated process
  • Liaise with Accounting Automation Analysts, Business Analysts, IT Functional Support, IT Development, IT Security, or Application Consultants in the production of Business Requirements Documents, SAP Break/Fix Incidents or Enhancement / Change Requests necessary to support the "to be" automated process
  • Develop and monitor project plans related to the process automation build
  • Design, build, unit test, and coordinate user acceptance testing of process automations including the following features/tools:
  • Redwood Finance Process Automation (RunMyFinance)
  • SAP
  • Coordinate migration of automation builds between Development, Test and Production automation environments
  • Coordinate development and testing of security roles within the automation application with IT security and Business Analyst teams.
  • Coordinate and participate in the development of user training materials and desktop procedures with business subject matter experts in preparation for production deployments of any process automation builds
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain process automation builds once deployed to production
  • Prepare, perform and document regression tests for process automations when there are system upgrades impacting the automations
