Pittsfield Public Schools is seeking a Health Technology CTE Teacher Job description: Teaches the Massachusetts Health Assisting Frameworks and modifies them to different learning styles and student backgrounds. Teaches occupational skills and knowledge to provide students with the competence to become skilled in their field. Develops lesson plans and organizes class time so that preparation, instruction, shop work, and clean-up activities can be accomplished within the allotted time. Works with the CTE Supervisor and Co-op coordinator in making sure students have work-based experiences, including co-ops. Instructs students in the appropriate safety precautions and the safe operation and use of instruments and equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Nursing. Current Massachusetts license as a registered nurse (RN). Minimum of three years full-time employment experience directly related to health assisting.
