This role will be focused on driving engineering excellence into the design and deployment of our public clouds governance framework covering AWS, GCP and Alibaba. This involves working closely with engineering peers across Cloud, Infrastructure, Networks and Security as well as understanding and delivering on customer requirements across multiple public clouds and our private cloud. You will be passionate about cloud technologies and speak with authority on best practices and engineering discipline learned through trial and error, not just books and docs. Responsibilities

Typical day-to-day responsibilities include the following:

• Support existing tools and utilities written in Golang


• Utilize Kubernetes for deploying and managing our suite of tools and services


• Operate and administer in a Linux environment


• Manage and improve the GitOps pipeline that is utilized by internal customers


• Maintain and support a framework written in Terraform for governing AWS, GCP, and Alibaba


• Design, implement and maintain a governance frameworks using Terraform

Skills/Experience

• 3+ years of experience in similar roles, with a strong emphasis on building resources in public clouds


• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code


• Experience programing using languages such as Golang or Python


• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes


• Experience with GitOps methodologies


• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Alibaba cloud platforms

Pluses

• Building and implementing governance frameworks written in terraform


• Proficiency in deploying and managing infrastructure using ArgoCD


• Experience in Azure, including provisioning and managing resources, implementing governance policies


• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments


• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person's circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $77,500.00 - $143,376.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
