Job Purpose

The Research Operations Specialist is responsible for managing data, support, and research logistics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Data Maintenance
    • Maintaining product, QC and raw material data in collaboration with R&D chemists to ensure data is accurate and standardized.
    • Support of raw material investigations and audits. Technical document transfers are timely and accurate.
  • Project Management Maintenance
    • Maintenance of a SharePoint dashboard of all NPD projects, subsites and documentation.
    • Working with Product Directors to ensure dashboard are representative of project status, prompt gate review meetings and record results of gate reviews.
  • Help develop and maintain corporate product stewardship procedures.
  • Manage global formulation database including all administrative applications and Security Roles
  • Manage global QC database
  • Work with global PDM team to generate new code numbers for both raw material and finished goods.
  • Assist Global Technical documents managers with file/data organization for all ERP's and Lotus Notes regarding raw material and formulation management and distribution as well as data entry.
  • Assist Global Innovation, Supply Chain and Regulatory with inquiries for product stewardship information.
  • Communicate new and anticipated regulatory requirements for new product development.
  • Assist product managers with all rationalization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain Circuitry Solutions R&D reports in PatSnap.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to review formulations, QC specifications and raw material documentations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, SharePoint)
  • Experience or aptitude to be trained in SAP/JDE/PowerBI/WinLIMS/CPro/etc.
  • Excellent communication skills

Education

Associate's Degree in Chemistry or Relevant industry
