DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at DCIDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! We are looking for an experienced Tissue Processing Team Lead to provide leadership with the daily tissue processing operations. This position will support management with implementing and executing policies and procedures, providing training, assist with schedule and promote quality and compliance within the department.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

  • Responsible for determining and coordinating day to day scheduling of processing activities.

  • Assists with training technicians in the processing and documentation of processing tissue products.

  • Supports implementing and executing strategic initiatives identified by the Operational leadership team.

  • Responsible for ensuring quality of each graft/allograft for suitability based on SOP and specification. Inspects each graft for proper processing techniques, thorough removal of blood and lipids, and residual tissue. Promotes a culture of quality and compliance throughout the department.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Medical or technical training preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in tissue processing or other related experience.

  • CTBS Certification preferred.
