Job Description:
Mid-Level Systems Administrator Full-time with Benefits Antech Systems is looking for a Mid-Level Systems Administrator with a security focus to join the team at its headquarters located in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this position, the candidate will work with a small IT team to support all aspects of Antech's software development efforts as well as some corporate operations. You will work on various systems to coordinate solutions in support of software application installations on multiple government platforms. Successful candidates will be self-motivated problem solvers who don't want a repetitive job role with the tenacity to understand the software development process, requirements and needs, as well as government process and policies. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen living in the Hampton Roads, VA area, with the ability to acquire a Security Clearance. Responsibilities include:- Support the software development teams to ensure compliance with government policies.
- Assist with DevOps, deploying application updates to government platforms.
- Maintain in-house development servers ensuring they are kept current with patches and upgrades.
- Recommend and implement security improvements to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Research the latest technological developments and cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Assist with documentation of government compliance, including DISA STIGS requirements for desktop and cloud applications.
- Troubleshoot various servers and services.
- Provide level 2 technical support.
- Support Atlassian Data Center Applications.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of system administration knowledge of Office 365, and Azure.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with Atlassian Data Center Application Administration a plus
- Familiarity with NMCI a plus
- Knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of SIEM systems (Splunk preferred)
- ITSM knowledge of incident, request, and change management processes.
- CMMC or NIST 800-171 compliance knowledge preferred.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ preferred
- Other relevant IT certifications (MCP, MCSE/MCSA/AZURE Cloud, VMware AirWatch, Apple) a plus.
