Job Purpose: Mid-Senior level role in the Corporate Finance function (FP&A). Primary duties include financial planning & analysis for all corporate divisions, working with division leaders to update budgets and forecasts and analyze actual results. Finance Managers job to serve and support these positions and address their various financial and operational needs. This job will be located in our Plano, TX Headquarters on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute detail financial planning & analysis for all corporate divisions, working with division leaders to update budgets and forecasts and analyze actual results.
• Assist Finance Director with Enterprise-Wide budgeted/forecasting assumptions to drive consistency and accuracy across the organization (e.g. Health Insurance)
• Review and approve all invoices and expenses to ensure proper accounting and coding including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc.
• Assist Accounting in the monthly and year-end close process
• Review general ledger detail and coordinate with Accounting to book appropriate journal entries
• Assist Finance Director as needed with consolidation of enterprise-wide financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including coordination with FP&A functions in each of the companys four primary business units
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed, including: research, presenting alternative strategies to current plans, modeling impact of variance business decisions.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or other business field. Masters degree or CPA a plus.
• 6+ years of relevant experience working with financial statements, budget and forecast preparation, financial analysis, and general accounting knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Ability to demonstrate use of complex formulas (sumifs, vlookup, index, match, indirect, etc.) along with a strong working knowledge of how to interpret and analyze large data sets in excel.
• Superior verbal, written and interpersonal skills are required in order to communicate effectively with management, private equity ownership team, consultants, etc.
• Ability to maintain progress on multiple projects at any given time across various departments while demonstrating an understanding of the teams objectives to better prioritize the tasks at hand
• Information management systems experience desired. Adaptive Insights and/or Workday/GP Dynamics experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, to be a team leader and - as important - to be a team player
