Our Procurement team plays a major role in supporting the organization’s mission by procuring goods, services, and equipment necessary for the achievement of organizational goals. This work is crucial for us to gather the information necessary for farmers and ranchers to triumph over the barriers and ultimately benefit all of society through their efforts. We live to find new ways to communicate usable information so farmers and ranchers can leave their land better at sunset than at sunrise.

As purchasing agent 1, you will be responsible for guiding the organization in securing required materials and/or services consistent with quality requirements, at economically advantageous prices and delivery. This is key in helping Noble achieve its goal and share the story of regenerative land stewardship with farmers, ranchers, potential donors, and society at large. The work you do can play a part in making a difference in a producer’s operation, their life and the society that depends on them.

You will:

• Participate all aspects of sourcing, buying and vendor/project management using logical and critical thinking for reviewing information and evaluating areas of improvement and efficiency.
• Provide consultative and technical support to departments in sourcing and buying goods, services, and equipment. Use listening and discernment for follow-up questions to gain understanding and clarity of needs and be able to leverage economies of scale where appropriate.
• Exhibit a customer service-focused approach in all interactions and tasks maintaining a collaborative working relationship with employees, customers, visitors, and guests.
• Represent Noble’s mission and values and care for the land and its improvements by supporting and contributing to the objectives of your team and its contribution to the goals of the organization.
