Job Summary | This is a full-time temp tech position for a research staff member who will assist with conducting community-based studies. The position responsibilities include recruiting participants to studies, collecting data and providing interventions designed to improve health. The person hired for this position is expected to be familiar with and willing to travel in rural Kentucky communities. They should have good communication and people skills as well as good time management skills. New research staff will be trained to do all of these activities and the time commitment is 35 – 40 hours per week. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Ability to read and write in English at least at a high school graduate level; ability to work with people; desire to learn new health-related information and skills; willingness to work with a diverse team; and ability and willingness to drive long distances (up to 2 hours distance from home site) as needed. |
