• Competitive hourly compensation—this position pays $20/hr to $28/hr depending on home services skills;

Responsibilities

We have built our reputation on putting the customer experience first and the Pest Control Utility Technician is key to delivering on this purpose.    

 

You will…  

• Install ancillary services for pest control solutions such as encasements, insulation, termite bait installations;


• Perform skilled remediation services for homeowners by repairing pest damage;


• Deliver high quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to residential, industrial, institutional and commercial customers;   

• Build strong relationships with customers to be attentive to their needs in controlling pest matters;  


• Seek opportunities for customer base growth;  


• Read and follow all label instructions for products utilized while performing pest management services;  


• Develop and maintain records of field activities, such as but not limited to service tickets, inspection reports, and service agreements;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old, no experience in pest control necessary  


• High School Diploma/GED  

• Valid driver’s license  


• Carpentry skills are preferred


• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required 

  

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.   

  

Physical Demands / Working Environment:  

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations:   

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity  


• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Able to obtain pesticide licensure within training period (company paid)


• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.  while bending, crawling, stooping, reaching overhead and working on ladders

• Able to work in heat, cold, rain, snow while taking safety precautions
