We need your help! Hungry dinosaurs have dined and dashed and have left our facility a mess! If you want to help keep our Museum clean and orderly, come and work with us!

Every single day thousands of curious guests take a break from an action packed day at the museum and enjoy various treats from our café, and we need you to help make our guests experience memorable!

This position is responsible for leading the Steward team in the successful setup; tear down and execution of assigned Banquet events at the Museum. This position will also supervise utility stewards, dishwashers, and temporary personnel to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the Museum’s kitchen wares.

Hiring Range: $21.00/Hour

Essential Duties


  • Oversees the Stewarding team at assigned banquet events in regards to service, execution, quality and guest relations. 

  • Leads the timely completion of duties required for set-up, execution and breakdown of assigned banquet events.

  • Reviews CAD’s and BEO’s correctly to gain a complete understanding of event expectations.

  • Responsible for post event organization and cleanliness of event locations, equipment and catering storerooms.

  • Motivates and leads employees to ensure their performance meets expectations, professional development and success at their jobs. 

  • Assists with training, maintains and instills high customer service levels in stewarding staff by being highly responsive to customer requests and presenting the stewarding team in a highly professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 years’ experience in banquet or restaurant service required.

Working Conditions


  • Standing or walking up to 8 hours in a shift.

  • Strenuous physical activities like pushing carts, moving tables and chairs, lifting chafers, clearing dirty dishes, carrying trays of service items, and moving various banquet equipment and supplies.

  • Lifting requirements: Medium physical effort required by handling up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.

  • High volume production kitchen. Can be hot, cold, humid and/or slippery.

  • Strenuous physical activities like moving tables, chairs and clearing dirty dishes.

  • May require frequent walking, up and down stairs during set-up and during events.
